This week, the NASCAR world was shocked to learn of the death of one of the sport’s retiring drivers.
Clint Bowyer, a former NASCAR racer who now works as a FOX analyst, was reportedly involved in a terrible car accident earlier this month that killed a woman.
[adinserter block=”9″]The former NASCAR racer was involved in a deadly collision near the Lake of the Ozarks, according to reports. As a result, Bowyer was not included in NASCAR’s Cup Series broadcast last weekend.
According to a crash report from the Lake Ozark Police Department, Bowyer was driving westbound on U.S. 54 near Missouri 242 when he struck a woman walking on the ramp.

He called 911 and helped first responders locate the female victim, who was pronounced dead on the scene. The woman has been identified as Mary Jane Simmons of Camdenton, Missouri.
