Why I'd left HBO Max and Netflix in September

Each month, we stop using streaming services to save money. I stopped using Netflix this year and then started again. "Churn" boosts our financial results (the services hate it, as you might expect).

Being committed to Disney Plus and Hulu while their prices are rising this fall is challenging. Your #1 priority is probably not missing the premieres of your favourite series or finding new favourites.

In September 2022, we evaluate the best streaming services and recommend which ones should be dropped.

The most recent additions to Netflix, HBO Max, Apple TV Plus, Hulu, and Disney Plus are listed here. Since we can't guess what you've seen, we won't mention what they already have.

For $4.99/£4.99/AU$7.99 a month, Apple TV Plus delivers premium entertainment options. Yes, it costs the same as Paramount Plus and Peacock, but Apple's originals are better.

A young-adult comedy series titled Life by Ella (Sept. 2) is about 13-year-old cancer survivor Ella (Lily Brooks). Even if I wasn't previously intrigued, the trailer below seems interesting.
