The Chiefs pulled a practical joke on a rookie wide receiver.

It's typical for team veterans to make fun of the roster's rookies in many NFL locker rooms.

The seasoned Kansas City Chiefs players did precisely that to rookie wide receiver Skyy Moore on Saturday night.

Moore posted a picture of his projected bill for a Saturday night team dinner on social media (he is pictured above taking part in May's scheduled team activities).

The price came to a staggering $22,730.

In an Instagram post, he went into great detail about what happened, saying that the fake receipt was printed out as a practical joke on him and that seasoned wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling paid for the actual lunch bill.

Moore has a one-year contract for slightly more than $1 million with the Chiefs after being selected by them in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft.

Moore had the option of picking up the price for the supper, but doing so would have been much worse for him than for Valdes-Scantling.
