NBA champion announces retirement

On the official website of Team USA Basketball, Jodie Meeks made his retirement known. Meeks had stints with the 76ers, Pistons, Magic, Wizards, Lakers, and Raptors.

2009 saw Jodie Meeks excel for the Kentucky Wildcats. The sharpshooter averaged 23.7 points while shooting 40% from beyond the arc.

He was selected 41st overall by the Milwaukee Bucks in 2009. He also played for the Raptors, Lakers, Magic, Wizards, 76ers, and Pistons in addition to the Bucks.

In 539 regular-season games, Meeks averaged 9.3 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.1 assists.

NBA Playoffs, 34 games. He was an excellent shot and team member.

In 2014, the Lakers were his favourite team. The previous Wildcat had a per-game average of 15.7 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.4 steals.
