The NASCAR team JTG Daugherty Racing is in for a challenging day. The team lamented the loss of a member of their racing family on Sunday with the passing of JR Hollar.
We'll be competing at Kansas Speedway with heavy hearts, according to a tweet. JR Hollar, a wonderful employee of our JTG Daugherty Racing family, passed away this morning.
We loved him and he loved his JTG Daugherty Racing family. He will be sadly missed. The entire NASCAR scene united to express their grief.
According to Bob Pockrass, JR Hollar, a hauler driver for JTG Daugherty Racing for more than ten years, passed away this morning. He was 57. RIP."
Another tweet read, "Prayers with the JTG Racing Organization." Added another "I deeply regret your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with JR's family, friends, and coworkers right now."
