Mookie Betts identifies the pitcher he prefers

After the Los Angeles Dodgers' Wednesday night loss to the New York Mets, All-Star outfielder Mookie Betts was named the league's best pitcher.

Betts supported the Mets' ace Jacob deGrom, who started at Citi Field and only allowed the Los Angeles Dodgers one run.

"He's pretty much the greatest, maybe the best to throw," said Betts of deGrom.

In contrast to expectations, the Dodgers' only player against deGrom on Wednesday was Betts. He went deep to score on his own in the top of the sixth.

At his final news conference, deGrom gave a shout-out to Betts for his outstanding season. Clearly, these two celebrities appreciate each other on an equal basis.

He batted.281 with 32 home runs and 70 runs batted in. DeGrom is 4-1 this season with a 1.98 ERA. Choose Here More golfers might face PGA Tour bans.
