California cops received a call from a zoo but it was from a monkey

Inadvertently dialling 911 from the San Luis Obispo County Zoo was a Capuchin monkey.

On Saturday night, the police received the emergency call.

The San Luis Obispo County Sheriffs' Office posted a Facebook post about it.

"We've heard that capuchin monkeys are really curious, will grab anything, and will just start pressing buttons.

These images show that Route is a little embarrassed by the whole situation.

However, you can't really hold her responsible. Monkeys see, and monkeys act," the department continued.
