Alison Brie describes the cancellation of GLOW as "the greatest heartbreak of my career."

In a new interview, Alison Brie discusses the cancellation of Netflix's GLOW.

GLOW was a three-season dramedy series based on the true story of the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling that followed a female wrestling team in 1985.

Netflix cancelled a previously ordered fourth and final season of the show in October 2020, citing pandemic concerns, after production had already begun.

Almost two years later, Alison, the series' star, told Decider that the cancellation of GLOW is "the greatest heartbreak of my career."

Though the cancellation of GLOW was "surprising," Alison said it was "sort of" overshadowed by the shock of everything that was going on in the world.

"It was almost like it put things in perspective," she reflected.
